As I said in the name of this thread, do the elite speak English? Or just put an intermediate level in the CV (as everyone does...) but in reality, you don't speak a word?

If so, have you ever used it in the actual life? have you ever hit on a girl using your English skills? or have you ever got a job only because of your fluent English? Please share the experiences with us.

If you are an English teacher or translator your job is knowing English so, don't show off!

Escribiste esto tu solo con diccionario en mano? Tu Inglés está pasao a caca, lo aprendiste en Nahuelbuta?
 
Tengo el privilegio de que mi mamá haya estudiado inglés, y que me haya promovido aprenderlo desde brocacochi, por lo que tengo cierta facilidad para usarlo, tanto a nivel oral como escrito :cafe3:.

Tampoco me creo fluente en la wea, así que en el cv pongo "nivel intermedio".

En la vida real, lo he usado puntualmente para conversar con extranjeros, y una sola vez tuve que hablar en inglés en una entrevista de trabajo... Igual quedó el weon que iba con pituto :sm:.
 
Sé menos de lo que me gustaría, aún así en viajes no he tenido problemas de ningun tipo e incluso me pongo a conversar con taxistas y weones x.
 
mi inglés tarzanesco me ha salvado en varias ocasiones :lol2: pero me gustaría aprender :buenaonda:
