ya que nadie ha puesto algo de ciencias sociales (uno solo en realidad, el de derecho) para los que van a estudiar historia, creo que es indispensable leer este libro.

creo que son escenciales para comprender la busqueda del pensamiento científico en los estudios históricos.

maravall hace una comparación entre el "ablandamiento" de las ciencias duras en cuanto a la dualidad de la luz y el cambio de paradigma que éste puede significar, con la flexibilidad (?) metódica que se les atribuye a las ciencias sociales.

bloch por otro lado parte su libro con la pregunta: papá ¿para que sirve la historia?. descubriéndose que en realidad la pregunta no es tal si no que funciona como una doble pregunta. por otro lado plantea la historia como pensamiento centífico en cuanto a la radicalidad que debe tener el historiador para cuestionar las fuentes, descubrir errores y falsificaciones históricas, etc. (capítulo la crítica)

ademas plantea un problema escencial sobre como proceder en un estudio histórico: pasado por presente, presente por pasado, o ambos.

para los que tenemos cursos matemáticos, sin tener nada que ver con eso, recomiendo Pre-cálculo y cálculo trascendentes y tempranas de James Stewart, que a mi por lo menos me salvo con algebra y calculo!
 
Bueno, para cualquier estudiante de Derecho perdido por la vida, mi recomendación:Derecho Romano:El oficial que usa mi profe es el Derecho Romano de Samper:

Pero más que nada porque el de Guzman Brito no se encuentra mucho por acá, que sin dudarlo, es la Biblia del D° Romano.

Y también está el de García Garrido que viene con casos, y es bastante más simple que los anteriores.Y por último, si ya están muy jodidos, a punto de reprobar (ramo ctm, increíble como te hincha las pelotas, al menos en mi U, que todavía se imparte obligatoriamente), les recomiendo el Curso de Derecho Romano de Jorge Adame Goddard, ya si no entienden con ese, es porque son muy brutos. Les recomiendo que se inscriban en la red de bibliotecas públicas, en cualquier BiblioMetro, tienen una amplia colección de textos de muy buenas editoriales, por ejemplo, varios textos de Foucault, Habbermas, Adorno, Debord, Deleuze, Nietzsche, Marx, etc. Muchos textos que por lo caro que son, hay pocos ejemplares en la Universidades y generalmente en colecciones de reserva.
