"Given his return to WWE, Bryan Danielson is canceling some of the indy dates he had signed for, leaving promoters in an unenviable position of finding a suitable replacement with little time to do so.

NYWC sent out the following last night.

NYWCwrestling.com is sorry to report that due to a WWE commitment on August 28th he is being forced to cancel his appearance with the NYWC at "Draw the Line" in Deer Park. The NYWC is doing everything in it's power to try and find a suitable replacement for Mr. Danielson. We understand the disappointment our fans must feel at this moment and NYWC is feeling that disappointment right along with you, Anyone interested in a refund for this event can email [email protected]. We hope to still see all of you in Deer Park on August 28th and we promise to do everything in our power to make it a show not to be missed.

Also, after accepting a deposit Danielson has canceled his appearance at Boston's MWF 9th anniversary show on September 18. You can find out more about that by clicking here.

MWF is asking that WWE management have Danielson honor the date and frankly I think that WWE management should insist on it. The promotions booked Danielson in good faith and WWE comes across really badly here if they don't have him honor his commitments. It won't hurt them to have Danielson miss some WWE house shows, especially when he wasn't even advertised for them, but it will cause significant damage to the indies that have been advertising him.

WWE is in the position to do the right thing here. I hope that they do so."
