La cadena Showtime ya ha mostrado el primer video con pistas sobre cómo se desarrollará su famosa producción Homeland. El estreno de la tercera temporada tendrá lugar el 29 de septiembre y los seguidores podrán retomar las tramas pendientes que protagonizan el Sargento Brody (Damien Lewis) y Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). En el video promocional de apenas 30 segundos, se pueden escuchar conversaciones cruzadas entre diferentes mandos de control y en el que al final se desvela la fecha del estreno.​

Homeland, de los productores ejecutivos Alex Gansa y Howard Gordon (24), está basada en la serie israelí Prisoners of War (Hatufim). La ficción ha conseguido un buen número de fieles seguidores entre los que se encuentran Barack Obama y Bill Clinton. Además, fue una de las grandes protagonistas en la entrega de los premios Emmy, alzándose como una de las mejores ficciones televisivas del momento con seis premios Emmy, incluido el de Mejor serie dramática, Mejor actor y Mejor actriz. Además, recibió el premio por segunda vez al Mejor drama en la pasada edición de los Globos de Oro.​

El final de la segunda temporada de Homeland dejó a muchos en estado crónico de ansiedad. Desgraciadamente, no quedaba más remedio que esperar a la siguiente entrega. Por ahora llega el momento del primer bocado para ir haciendo apetito de lo que está por llegar.

Que Rupert Friend haya sido nominado a un Emmy en la categoría "Mejor Estrella Masculina Invitada en Serie Dramática" no es una coincidencia, más aún cuando se sabe que será un personaje recurrente en la Temporada 3... En la Temporada 2 fue un APORTAZO y que alegría saber que lo veremos aún más en la próxima temporada y poder disfrutar de todo su talento como actor. La foto promocional de la Temporada 3 lo confirma.

HOMELAND tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of U.S. soldier, then Congressman, now fugitive, Nicholas Brody (Lewis) was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Season three opens during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the U.S. intelligence apparatus, and prompted a global manhunt for the world's Most Wanted terrorist, Nick Brody. As Carrie and Saul (Patinkin) begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody's whereabouts. Developed for American television by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, and based on the original Israeli series "Prisoners of War" by Gideon Raff, the series also stars Morena Baccarin, Rupert Friend, Sarita Choudhoury, Tracy Letts, Jackson Pace, Morgan Saylor and F.
