Porque ctm no me funciona "Pinta" Mint 17-17.1

Eso po cauros, hace rato no me funciona, si bien instala sin problemas, cuando lo abro desde el menu o con la opcion "abrir con pinta".
El programa no abre y cuando lo hago desde la terminal me sale este mensaje:

hace un par de versiones de ubuntu habia un problema muy tonto con pinta, el programa se instalaba bien pero luego no se ejecutaba. solución?

sudo apt-get install gnome-icon-theme-full

así de tonto... y luego pinta funcionó bien
 
Alguien alguna vez se ha dado cuenta de que el terminal dice el error y la solución, por la chucha.

Qué paja, y lo que dice el compipa arriba, ya los.tenia instalado.
Filo, usaré el gimp no más.
