New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has decided not to
appeal the discipline handed down by the NFL following the investigation into the use of under-inflated footballs in the AFC Championship.

"I don't want to continue the rhetoric," Kraft said Tuesday at the Spring League Meeting. "I'm going to accept, reluctantly, what (Goodell) has given to us. We won't appeal."
Kraft said that the interests of the 32 teams in the league are more important than the
Patriots' interest. But he's hoping that the
ugly back-and-forth that has taken place since the NFL's suspension will die down. The
Patriots will accept the $1 million fine and the loss of a 2016 first-round draft pick and a 2017 fourth-round draft pick. Kraft also publicly supported Goodell.
"If I made the decision last week, it would be different than it is today," Kraft said.
Tom Brady officially appealed his four-game suspension last week. The
NFLPA confirmed Tuesday that Kraft's decision will not affect Brady's suspension.
