This episode invalidates the entire foundation of the show. We started the show with Robert as King. Roberts rebellion was about rhaegar and Lyanna having a child (Jon Snow) because originally Rhaegar thought he was the prince who was promised of prophecy to bring an end to the long night. However, he soon realized it would be his son. All of the battle over Lyanna had no meaning now. Arthur Dane, the greatest swordsman ever died protecting the tower for... no reason. Jon Snow did nothing to stop the Night King when it came down to it. “He United the Kingdoms” people say. What? 2/7 of them? And the ones he united just went into the meat grinder anyways. All of the Azor Ahai prophecies, all we’ve heard about the long night and the Great War, ended in an anime sneak attack by a barely 100 pound girl with a dagger whose only training we saw was her sparring with sticks.
Go back and watch the beginning of the first ever episode of GoT. You’re gonna tell me Arya speed blitzes those creatures? After she was JUST shown in the previous scene she was in being unable to outrun the wights chasing her?

Wait, so your justification is that a prophecy wasn’t fulfilled? The things that damn near every fantasy writer, including GRRM, denounce as fickle things? What a weak excuse for whinging.
As for the first episode, they’ve always been inconsistent as far as speed goes. We also never get a good look at them because it’s a deliberate cinematic choice to increase terror. They didn’t film them out in the field outsprinting horses or some shit. And Arya was literally trained by the best assassins in the world. If anybody should be able to, it should be her.
Jon managed to get Wildlings, the NW, and Northmen to all work together. Groups that historically hated each other tremendously. He managed to convince Dany, who was at the time ruler of 3 kingdoms, into giving up her life’s ambition in order to help him. Dudes a fucking leader, no matter how salty you are over some stupid book prophecy.

Okay, fine. You don’t care about the prophecies. Then what is the point of Jon being resurrected? You’re gonna tell me the Lord of Light cares who sits on the iron throne and it wasn’t about defeating the darkness?
Why didn’t they just hire the faceless men to kill the walkers then? If he can die that easy just like any other human, then Jaquen has consistently been shown to be better at those skill than Arya.
And all of the houses were meaningless in the war. Their tactics and battle plans just put them in a wood chipper. The only reason Dany joined is because of a terrible plot by Tyrion to show a wight. The reason they did that is so they could nerf Danys comical overpowered army that she for other plot reasons has never just went and wiped out Cersei with until.. now? Convenient.
