1000 dolares

The PR team is having a meltdown over the reaction to Survive. It obviosuly doesn't bode well after the promises to "win the fans back"
Survive was supposed to be DLC for MGSV, and it only became a standalone title because the board decided that it will make more money that way. The game is 90% complete as of this time, and a beta is planned for January.
The entire "game" uses MGSV assets. The plan is to charge 20$ for it, and market it as a "Ground Zeroes-like" companion game. Expect lots of cosmetic DLC from other Konami IPs too.
There are 4 planned "Metal Gear" projects as of now. Survive, which is already near completion after a rushed development, a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, which had been in active development since october (I say "had been", because it was halted to rush out Survive), and two other projects that are in pre-production and will apparently be outsourced.
There were a total of 4 different trailers cut for Gamescom, and all of them were announcement trailers for Survive, with a Metal Gear Solid 3 tease at the end. The call to cut out all mentions of the remake was made over the past month. I don't know the details, but if Survive underperfoms, expect the MGS3 project to either be shelved, or to have it's budget severely cut.
The official line for the PR department to push going forward will be "Support Survive, and maybe you'll get more Metal Gear projects in the future"
